These articles provide an overview of where and how Snippets can be used, created, and updated.
Overview of Snippets in Inbox
If you find yourself writing the same text in messages, you may choose to create a Snippet so that you can easily add that text to messages without needing to type it each time. Signatures are the obvious choice for Snippets, but there may be other items that users are repeatedly responding with, such as links to certain resources.
Snippets can be created for a specific user, a specific Role, or for anyone within Inbox. These can only be used when responding to incoming messages that reside within Inbox. If you are sending an email direct from a record by clicking on the email, the snippets will not be available.
Snippets are used to insert HTML content conditionally into Deliver mailings, decision letters, or portals. While Translation Codes and Liquid markup can also be used to insert conditional content into a message, Snippets allow for HTML editing and formatting of the content prior to being merged into the mailing.
