An Invitation to Join TOEP

Written by on . Posted in News

We would like to invite all SUNY faculty, staff, librarians, adjuncts, TAs, and Doc students to explore the Tools of Engagement Project (TOEP). It would be great if you could also invite your colleagues too. If your campus is a participating campus then you have the opportunity to join the TOEP private social-network community and participate to earn incentives. If not, there is still a lot of value to take advantage of the curated resources and tutorials on the TOEP site. A call for new partner campuses for the (2016-2017) academic year will be sent out soon. The goal of TOEP is to encourage faculty and staff across SUNY to explore and reflect on the effective use of freely-available online instructional technologies for student learning. The most frequently acknowledged benefit of TOEP is the ability to interact within a community of peers to share experiences relating to the use of emerging technology tools. TOEP can be accessed anytime and anyplace that¹s convenient for you. TOEP is in its 4th year. We are now funded through a partnership with the SUNY Center for Professional Development (CPD) and partner campuses. TOEP is the first IITG project that has become a SUNY supported resource. The deadline for those from partner campuses to register is Feb. 12, 2016. Complete 3 short discovery exercises by April 1, 2016 to become eligible to earn professional development awards through our peer-review process. The winter break is a great opportunity to enhance your own learning. Visit the TOEP website and get started today!   Robin – TOEP Project Director ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Roberta (Robin) Sullivan Online Learning Specialist Center for Educational Innovation University at Buffalo, State University of New York 316C Harriman Hall, South Campus Buffalo, New York 14214 Phone: (716) 645-0773 Alternate Phone: (716) 645-7700
